   Kamala Nehru Zoological Museum or Indore Zoo is a zoological park located in Navlakha, Indore which is wholly owned by Indore Municipal Corporation. It is the largest zoological park and one of the oldest zoological parks in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is spread over an area of ​​4000 square meters. 

     कमला नेहरू प्राणी संग्रहालय या इंदौर चिड़ियाघर नवलखा, इंदौर में स्थित एक प्राणी उद्यान है जो कि पूरी तरह से इंदौर नगर पालिका निगम के स्वामित्व वाली है। यह मध्य प्रदेश राज का सबसे बड़ा प्राणी उद्यान एवम्एक सबसे पुराना प्राणी उद्यानों मे से एक है। यह 4000 वर्ग मीटर के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है।

     The Kamala Nehru Zoological Museum is one of the 180 recognized zoos in India. Various types of animals and birds from different parts of the world have been brought to the zoo. The zoo's effort has been successful to breed the White Tiger, the Royal Bengal Tiger, the Himalayan Bear and the White Peacock. Indore Zoo is a center for breeding, conservation and exhibition of animals, plants and their habitats.

      कमला नेहरू प्राणी संग्रहालय भारत के कुल 180 मान्यता प्राप्त चिड़ियाघरों में से एक है।चिड़ियाघर मे दुनिया के विभिन्न भागों से विभिन्न प्रकार के जानवरों और पक्षियों जो लाया गया है। चिड़ियाघर के प्रयास करने के लिए नस्ल सफेद बाघ, रॉयल बंगाल टाइगर, हिमालयन भालू और सफेद मोर सफल किया गया है। इंदौर चिड़ियाघर प्रजनन, संरक्षण और प्रदर्शनी के जानवरों, पौधों और उनके निवास के लिये एक केन्द्र है।

HISTORY / इतिहास

      Indore Zoo was established in 1974 in Navlakha area on only 17 acres of land. Later, in the year 1999, "acquisition" of 32 acres of land of adjoining Kaidibagh took the present form with 51 acres of land. It is full of greenery, where variety of trees and other plants gives the natural feel of the wild animals of the forest.

     1974 में इंदौर चिड़ियाघर को नवलखा क्षेत्र में स्थापित किया गया था केवल 17 एकड़ की भूमि पर। बाद में, वर्ष 1999 में आसपास के कैदीबाग की 32 एकड़ भूमि "का अधिग्रहण" से तो वर्तमान रूप 51 एकड़ जमीन के साथ धारण किया । यह से हरियाली भरा है, जहां विभिन्न किस्म के पेड. और अन्य पौधे जंगल के जंगली जानवरों का प्राकृतिक एहसास देते हैं।
